Rooftop Fly Rod Carrier Mounting Kit

A universal mounting kit for our Rootop Fly Rod Carriers.

The system includes a pair of U-bolts, and a pair of 1/8" thick laser-cut stainless clamping brackets that attach to the horizontal bars of your vehicle's rack.  

The stainless plates are padded with adhesive-backed rubber to protect your rack and add grip.

I offer these in three different widths (2", 3", and 4") to accommodate rack bars of different widths.  Measure your bars front to back, and select the smallest one that will fit around the bar.  This minimizes flex when clamping.

The included 1/4"-20 stainless steel bolts are 2" in length and work well for most bars.  If yours are very thin or very thick, you may need to run to the hardware store for longer or shorter fasteners.
